I hope I have put together a few things to hold your interest.... Allright all you Hollywood casting agents,here she is the most beautiful baby in the world! My daughter Elizabeth Grace at age 1.
Elizabeth loves to play with clay and squishy things.
Salt Clay:
1 cup salt
2 cups flour
1 cup water
Blend salt and flour in a bowl add water a little at a time, Knead dough 7-10 min. until firm. Place in a plastic bag to keep moist.
You can make shapes for ornaments, then bake at 325 30-40 mins.cool, and decorate with watercolors or food dye.
No Southerner worth thier salt does not have a recipie for Sweet Potato Pie! Here is my fave.
2 pie crusts (hey I but it in the store, I may be southern but not THAT southern!)
3 sweet potatoes; boiled and skinned
6 eggs
1 lg. can evaporated milk
1 stick butter
2 cups sugar
1 tblsp vanilla
1 pinch salt
� tsp. nutmeg
1� tsp. cinnamon
Mash sweet potatoes in butter add all other ingr. and mix well. Pour into Pie crusts and bake in 350 oven for 25 min.You can top with min. marshmallows and melt if you wish.

    I have searched and found these tips to be cheap and effective, enjoy!
    To freshen your home:
    Warm a little cinnamon in a pan it makes your whole house smell like you just baked a pie!
    Baking soda makes a great carpet freshener, you can add a little spice in with it to deoderize your whole room!
    Vinegar is still the best window cleaner around,especially if you use newspaper instead of paper towels.
